Look closely at both photos above and you can see the beautiful storybook murals that were painted on the interior walls of kiddieland. You can also see the pop bulb lights of the merry-go-round just inside the Playland building.

Over the following decades Playland was improved upon but changed very little with more attention given to the development of the new extension on the beach side which became Marine Pier.
 
 
Pictured above is the Old Mill in 1960's after it was re-themed as the Arabian Nights. Close up shots of the facade are pictured below left in 1966, and below right in 1968 - notice the new fountain heads.
 
 
 
The photo above was taken in 1973 and shows a circus motif has replaced the Arabian Nights. Close-ups of the artwork are shown below.
 
 
 
Pictured above, the Jack Rabbit Roller Coaster casts its shadow upon the rear wall of the Shore Theatre. Shown below in the summer of 66' and again in 68' running the more modern style PTC cars.
